Branding, 360° campaigns, editorial design & layout, storyboards, visual tools for public institutions and the diaspora

Penel Ralph Pierre is a seasoned visual communication professional at the intersection of design, editorial work, and storytelling. With more than two decades of experience, he has directed end‑to‑end projects, from strategy to execution, for public institutions, international organizations, and civil society actors. His portfolio includes brand identities, guidelines and style manuals, reports and dashboards, educational materials, media kits, and 360° campaigns for diverse audiences (government, diaspora, youth, nonprofit).

Since 2024, he has supported the Haitian Consulate in Orlando as a visual communication strategist, leading standardization of tools (public communication charter, templates, signage) and producing digital and event content. Previously, he served as Chief of the Graphic Workshop at the National Press of Haiti/Le Moniteur, Visual Mission Officer at the Prime Minister’s Office and the National Palace, and consultant to ministries and embassies. His client roster includes The Shade Room, UNESCO, the World Bank, USAID, UNOPS, WHO/PAHO, the Red Cross, Oxfam, Save the Children, Plan International…  alongside private and cultural partners.

As an author and illustrator, he is known for the Les Frères LOBO (Fanmi LOBO) series and appearances at the Miami Book Fair (2008 & 2024) and Caribbean festivals. Le Journal de Staif exhibited in Comic Convention International (ComicCon 2006), California. His Les Frères Lobo work is presented in an educational file at the University of Rio, Brazil, addressed to university professors of the network of the Agence universitaire de la Francophonie AUF under the theme: The comic strip as a teaching tool. Teachings Visual Art in National School of Art (ENARTS) 2013. As a teenager he participated in several drawing competitions, where he distinguished himself. Hired by Éditions Henri-Deschamps as a graphic designer/illustrator in 1998, he notably contributed to Couleurs de Rues, a successful children’s storybook co-published by Hachette-Deschamps and Edicef. Trilingual (French, English, Creole), he excels in art direction, editorial layout, visual narrative, social‑media asset production, and campaign management. His signature approach prioritizes outcomes, clarity and standardization of deliverables, and a strong focus on public‑service and Haitian diaspora impact.
